Been reading up on the amazing efforts of the many diy iem builders here and definitely feel like giving it a go.
 
Got my impression appointment booked for next week and think i've figured out what i'm going to do about cables, jacks and removable connectors, etc...
 
 
So far i'm guessing i can only get drivers from the states?
Any UK members that have imported drivers, how much did the import cost, in terms of duty/VAT/handling?
I'm looking at quite cheap drivers initially to keep the first experiment cost down. So a lot of bolt on costs will greatly affect my overall expenditure.
 
Anyone looking to import soon want to share an order?
or anyone have spare drivers they fancy selling on?

What type of drivers are you looking for ? Try http://colsanmicro.com/ they are based in UK, but not sure if they will do small quantities but you can try.

Got my drivers from Mouser UK. They imported the drivers from the states and paid the import tax for them so I didn't have to.
 
Took 3 days to come via fedex priority.
