Hi,

I'm going to built another set of interconnect cables to connect both my dac and ps1 to a single pair of rca inputs on my stax amp. What are the down sides of this if any and would i be better of attaching a second set of rca connectors to the back of the amp and running independant cables.

To clarify there will be a single rca connector for left and the right channels on the amp with 2 cables running out of each to 2 sepera rca connectors.

tks

as long as it isn't too long then it shouldn't have any negative effect whatsoever. if it was really long then there would be the increased capacitance and resistance of having all that extra mass but of a reasonable length and you will be fine. even a long one would cause little issue
