Please help clarify impedence match for me. Which amps are best for low impedence cans? Which are best for high impedence ones? Are there amps that are great for BOTH high and low? Are tube amps better or worse than SS for low or high impedence cans? What excatly determines an amp's ability to be better for low or high imp cans? Just a newbie needing some help ...thanks.
Proved that despite its huge size the CD3000 can be shoved down one's throat.

There is a very hard to answer question, we have a little of everything here, you can find SS (and tubes) that works fine with any, or just that workd fine with low or with high impedance, one of the most important things is the impedance match, but even with a good match in impedance, there are some other factors that matters in the synergy...
I suggest that why not better doing a search along the amps forum, and find out for your specific headphone, which will work fine, is better to direct the questions like that:
which cans do you plan to drive?
which is your budget?
portable or home use?
tubes or SS? etc...
but a general question like that one, is too ambiguous to answer and may have multiple answers....and may generate a big battle....
