Hey guys -
I was wondering if any one has any firsthand experience with using both of these sources. Currently, I use a diyMod w/ cerafine caps paired with a P 51 Mustang. Does anyone know how the SQ of the two compare? And if the Solo has better SQ how significant is it? I'm asking because I have the chance to upgrade to using V-caps, however now that the Solo has come out... I'm thinking long-term - do I want to stay with my diyMod and get V-caps or do I want to start saving up for the Solo?
I love the versatility and the idea of the Solo, but what it all boils down to for me, is the SQ compared to iMod with V-caps. Also, I worry that if I purchase used V-caps the wiring seems sort of fragile for everyday use. With the Solo I wouldn't necessarily have to worry about that.
Anyway, any useful thoughts and input are welcome.
