I have one of those imod sign things on the back of my current imod. I am curious if anyone has tried cutting the top domed layer off of it with any luck to make it flat so it could fit in case or something better.

invisible skin should wrap itself round it perfectly, if that would provide the requisite protection you desired?

Nah I have it in a silicone skin right now and I will (eventually if they ever ship it XD ) have a hippocase. I have two choices to make it work. 1 is to cut the case in the shape of the bump to allow it to go through or 2 is to cut off the dome thing itself which I would prefer not to do XD

Yes I always wanted my imod sticker to stay where it was too.

I have seen someone else relocate their sticker though to the outside of a hard case.

Perhaps it would be an idea to contact vinnie, purchase two stickers, use on on the outside of a hard case, then when/if you take it out or sell it on reapply the sticker to the back of the player?

Other than that, cutting a silicone case (or otherwise) sounds about the best way forward.... shame though.
