Currently, I use the Audio Engine D1 on one of the USB port on the IMAC that is connected to the Adam A3X. Can I use the second USB port of my IMac for another USB DAC with analog volume control to connect to another Adam F7? I am thinking about the Fostex HP A3 that has analog volume control output. If it is posible, Is there a way I do not have to go to Utilities to change the DAC let say from the Audio Engine D1 to the Fostex HPa3 when I switch between the A3x to the F7? I am saving up for some hi quality pre amp such as Audio Research or Cary Audio but meanwhile my budget is tight hence the question.
