Hey,
My friend was always looking for monitors but didn't have the dough to drop down cash on say K271S and a good amp/DAC.
He's starting to perform on stage (guitarist/vocalist) and wears earplugs.
I suggested to him to get some IEMs, he can use them for his mixing/recording and to protect his hearing while performing. He could also use them for his iPod.
Our 3 choices are iM716 from Amazon, E2c or E3c (because we can get these cheaper).
I guess the "flatter" the better, but there's really no such thing as "flatness" because every headphone has their own sound signature.
Thoughts? Are the E3C's significantly better than the E2Cs? No amp.
