Over this past weekend, we had some mid 70s and it was at least 82 on Monday. I loved being able to pretend it was summer, if only for a bit. I had all the windows open, put on some shorts, did some bbq chicken, had a couple beers. It was great. Today it was 50 and windy. Yuck.
I lived in southern New Mexico for 4 years and never really missed winter. January temps are usually mid-50s. It's 75 and sunny every day there by this time of year. I was hoping to find a job someplace with nice weather, but it was not to be. Guess I could always relocate later. Snow is pretty, but having to shovel it or drive in it is no fun. And while I don't mind crisp, cool weather, the frigid weather I got to deal with every year growing up in Chicago just sucks.
