The damn thing took forever to get here and it looks like it was damaged in shipping! There was NO bubble wrap, NO peanuts, NO NOTHING! GRRRR! I could hear a "rattle rattle" in the amp and I figured it was the tubes... I pulled the top off and I was right! Now I have three tubes sitting here with a few bent pins and NO IDEA what the hell to do!

Was this the ebay amp from some time ago? I think I tried to contact the seller a few times but did not get any response.

It looks like I was lucky this time, but bummer for you obviously.....
Maybe you can buy some new tubes, they are probably of higher grade anyway....

I can put the tubes back in... just not sure wich ones go where??? Will I kill it if I put them in the wrong slot?

What kind of tubes do you have? I don't think it could damage anything if you place them incorrectly, maybe just give poor sound.
I am a total n00b however when it comes to tubes, so waiting for someone else to chime in....

I have no idea what tubes they are... there is faded markings in them... nothing clear at all.

They all are the same size and look identical...

I just tossed them in, turned it on and the amp seems to be working. I sure hope I dont screw this up!

Any opinion on the sound yet? I just saw the amp on eBay and then tracked down this thread.

I'm certainly not excited about their choice of packaging methods.

The three tubes obviously can't be identical, two of them have to be the output tubes, and the other the gain tube, any marks on the chasis, or any pic of the inside to give you a better idea....
