Hello all,

I recently purchased a pair of monoprice 108323 headphones and have been impressed with their performance vs cost. I do some design work and make my designs on a cnc machine. So creating things are kind of a full time job for me. Anyhow, I'd like to use the internals of this pair and make my own over the ear headphones out of them. I'm hoping to get better sound quality form them and have some fun along the way. So what goes into making a better Can? Is it all about noise reduction? Is more space behind the drivers important? There is a ton of data and plans for building a better speaker box but things are kinda nonexistant on what makes a good set of cans. I'd appreciate any advice or links you could refer me to.

Thanks,

Chris
