Hey All,

Thanks for checking out my question.

My setup is as follows:

Desktop PC running Jriver 22

CHAIN:  PC USB ---->Jitterbug ---->Starlight 7 USB 3.0 cable ---> IFI Micro IUSB 3.0-----> Starlight 7 USB 2.0 cable ----> IFI Micro IDSD ----> RCAs --->Bottlehead Crack (Headphone Tube Amp w. speedball /upgraded components & tubes) --------> HD650s.

I previously had the original IDAC, and I like IFI's signature and quality.  Unfortuntately, there's not a dealer near me so I would pull the trigger without sampling it based upon what feedback I can get and my satisfaction with the brand in the past.

Question is as follows:

Would there be any worthwhile benefit of putting the IFI itube in the chain between the IDSD and the Bottlehead Crack?

On the website http://ifi-audio.com/portfolio-view/micro-itube/ IFI implies that it is considered to be for desktop speakers as opposed to cans, but in application I see must people put it in their chain with headphones too.

Here's a link to five examples of how IFI says the Itube may be used  https://www.facebook.com/iFiAudio/photos/?tab=album&album_id=591679184201161

Any personal experiences or input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
