Hi,

I can't seem to connect my gaming headset to my idsd micro. As soon as I plug in the microphone cable into the 3,5mm input of the idsd the audio is muted.

Is it at all possible or can the idsd only work one way at a time?

You can't do this. The 3.5mm is a line in so that you can use the headphone amplifier in the iDSD without the DAC. Naturally therefore, as soon as you insert a 3.5mm plug, the DAC is cut off.
