Hi @iFi audio ... Before I go full FOMO and and overpay for the XDSD on ebay...is there a timeframe on the backorders for the big chain stores in the states such as Crutchfield and Adorama? Thank you so much!

Thanks, what do you mean by a stretch...and would you recommend a balanced cable with the HD600s?

Many headphone amplifiers achieve balanced connection by bridging two output circuits, this provides more power, and is of much benefit for hard to drive cans. Thanks, what do you mean by a stretch...and would you recommend a balanced cable with the HD600s?
The xDSD does not do this. It is balanced in the true sense, meaning that there is individual earthing for left and right channels. It does sound better, but don't expect more 'grip'.

I am wondering if there is going to be a new version of the XDSD soon with USB-C , 4,4 and maybe better lasting rubber feet? ☺

Do you have the original xDSD with the circular feet?
I have the version with the long feet, I have not had any problems with them.
I have it when browsing sometimes in Safari.Has anyone had micro breaks in the sound flow when cabled to iPhone (original otg dongle)?
Happens to be that the sound breaks for a split second when I get a message or change tab on Chrome, for example. It's like a "tear" in the sound flow.
