I used iDefender with regular iPower and it made no difference whatsoever. It was just a complicated mess of wires and expense for nothing.

Just a word of warning, using too many noise reduction devices tends to make the sound compressed and flat while still increasing resolution.

My chain was,

Furutech gtx-d ac receptable > ifi supanova > Furutech PLC > PC > idefender > igalvanic > ipurifier > Denafrips Ares II > audio-gd master19.

One day, I swapped in a new usb cable and wanted to hear the difference with the chain vs just the usb cable. I found without the ifi devices, there was a little more noise and it was slightly less resolving but also more bass, improved dynamics and musicality. There seems to be some link between them.

If your system is very noisy, the ifi devices will probably improve it but there is a point of diminishing returns and a point where it may negatively affect the sound depending on your setup.

In my particular setup it was the latter. I did not notice because I added the ac receptacle and supanova after the other ifi devices.
