I already own the HD-25's on my portable rig..but i would like to have the Beyer T50p.

Thanks for all the input but so there is no general consensus.Only one phone is mentioned more than once and that's the hd 25. I'm holding my hat on the srh 840 as the one of the two I would chose though I don't own a pair.The grado 80's I do have but unmodified they seem a little dark to me.

Grados are open backed... You wouldn't be able to wear them in any remotely noisy/quite environments

Probably a custom and a PK1 for all around use.
