So here's my idea for this thread. I'll start off by making a suggestion like:

If you like the Black Crowes, then you'll probably like the Rolling Stones.

The next poster would then take the Rolling Stones:

If you like the Rolling Stones, then you'll probably like Chuck Berry.

The next poster would take Chuck Berry:

If you like Chuck Berry, then you'll probably like Muddy Waters.

Etc.

Obviously, this is all very subjective, but it could be interesting. We'll see how it goes.

So to start:

If you like Luna, then you'll probably like the Velvet Underground.

Concerning Stereolab/High Llamas - an argument could be made that though one is an offshoot of the other, the sound differs a bit - but whatever, I'm a team player:

You have to use the last artist that the last poster stated.

Example: The last post was me saying "If you like The Ramones, you'll probably like the Clash!"

So now, I do this

If you like the Clash, you'll probably like the Sex Pistols!
