If anyone wants a Porsche 356 (two available - hardtop and convertible) There is a dude in FL who wants to sell a partly finished one for $16000 and a untouched (needs full restoration - engine and chassis - enging runs) one for $6000.00

Cheers!

what are the chances that a train comes right after you cross the tracks?

The truck carrying the cars apparently stalled on the track.

I'm glad I wasn't on that train. I would feel awful if I was on that train. About as bad as I feel after running over a dog. (which always bothers me)

But, then again, they were Porsches, not something truly classic like old Cudas or Mustangs

That site said the truck got hung up on the rail. I've seen a lot of trucks hit that got hung up on the rail.

That sucks. Pretty stupid situation if you ask me...the train should have been stopped.

You stand out there and make the train stop.

I'm sure the guys on the train tried to stop. If the driver had time, he could have called someone. Around here there are little blue signs on the crossing sign posts with an 800 number to call if you are stuck on the tracks. It only works if the train is far enough away to have the time to call, and there is time to relay the info to the train crew, and they have time to get it stopped.

I wonder if the driver could have backed up.
