I decided to head straight on into this, as my other thread failed.

Im looking into ~$40 IEMs as my first ones (and only because i don't frequent them, but need some arshmallow replacements).

I prefer a natural V curve to the sound signature unless i'm at home in peace, where a flat response is more to my liking.

Ive been looking at IEMs such as the M6, NE-6/7/8, PL-30, and a few others. Ive yet to find one described as having a slight bump in the highs and lows (or slightly recessed mids if you must).

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

M6's ..yes..a slight dip in the middle where the mids reside. They're good stuff, go for them

Beta Brainwavz from MP4 Nation (a.k.a Vsonic R03) is one with slight V shape frequency response

The M6s and M9s have a slight dip in the mids. Given the choice, I'd go for the more expensive M6s because they are sonically superior.

Thank you all VERY much. This thread has taught me a new post rule: say it in the title and get to the point already.
