I recently lost my Klipsch S4i's
. I thought they were great. Prior to this though I had used regular Apple earphones. The bass on the S4i's was very strong, which was good but not much of my music benefitted from that. The only gripe (that I could discern) was the sibilance.
My budget is around $100. A volume control/playback/mic is absolutely necessary for me. And fwiw, i listen mostly to indie (namely: Beirut), and some well known stuff like the beatles, the zombies, chad & jeremy, sinatra.
Now I need new iems cause it's impossible to go back to the Apple ones. I've narrowed it down to:
1. Klipsch S4i
2. Sennheiser MM 70 IP
3. Etymotic mc3
4. Klipsch S5i (maybe)
I did some searches but info/reviews on the mc3's and mm70ips was fairly sparse. I'd really appreciate any guidance, and/or comparisons.
Thanks!
