So I'm about to leave town for about half a year and as a result, need to leave my home setup of The Headroom Desktop Amp and Audiotechnica W5000 behind for a while. I'm looking to buy a pair of IEM's but I've never bothered buying a quality pair because I've always had comfort issues. In general, I like headphones with a nice and clear mid like most of the audiotechnica can models. Something that sounds good with IDM/classical/japanese and anything with prominent female vocals is my preference. Its looking like I'll be purchasing either the ODac/o2 combo or the audioquest Dragonfly for my laptop, and I currently have a cmoy I constructed using the board from JDS labs. Any ideas on a brand/model of IEM's I should start off with? My budget is a flexible $400.

Thanks for the recommendations! Any idea how comfortable the Final Audio Design and Ortofon models are? Some of those brass models from FAD look like they could be pretty rough.
