Hey guys,

i want to ask what is happening if i switch or turn the polarity of a IEM? Is there a chance to harm or damage the drivers? I switched the polarity by turning around the 2 pin connector. What happens to the drivers? They only swing in the opposite direction, right?

Don't think u will damage anything, the music just sounds very weird like it is coming from the back of the ears.

U can hear what a reverse polarity sounds like on this link:

I have a Shuoer EJ07 and when i switches the polarity to the false direction, it sounds is bit smoother and slightly more detailed. Very strange thing! But i don't get this weired thing, that the sound comes from the back.
