so yea, im in search of a pair of iems.

i listen to mainly hardcore rock, bands like underOATH, between the buried and me

but from time to time i listen to hip-hop, r&b, etc.

im looking for something that provides clear vocals/guitar play and decent to heavy bass.

my budget is 100-250, maybe push 300.

and side note, what would be a good pair of headphones for DJ's

i listen to stuff with alot of electric guitar, and quite alot of fast stuff
like

in flames
arch enemy
muse
still remains
finch
Darkest hour
underoath
bullet for my valentine

as well as trance
tiesto stuff
armin van buuren
etc

ad i like tight kicking bass, not boomy, clear prominent highs

i chose ue tf10 over se530
review of those by me

You might also consider Sleek Audio SA6's

I have not heard the SA6, but I have read good reviews. If you weren't willing to try something newer (and more expensive), then the Denon C700 are a great well established choice. I listen to a lot of rock and they are fantastic. great bass and you can hear the sparkle of the symbals:

Denon AH-C700
