I use the train everyday, and it is VERY loud, so i need some good isolation. I am currently using the EX80 of Sony, borrowed from my brother, as a temporary solution. It does not have the isolation i need. My im716 died, and the isolation he provided with triple flanges was good. But, for metal, it was not the thing i was looking for.

So, what are the suggestions you can give me in the price range of 150~200?

So, i've done some research, and i am between TF10, W3 (despite the higher price), IE 8.

I will consider MTP Gold or copper depending on the isolation, comparing to these other IEM. They isolate well?

I'm open to new suggestions also. Please give your opinions

I liked very much Westone UM3X with shure black foam sleeves. I listen everything but more often power metal and metal balads and they was great. I can only recomend them.

The W3 isolates better than the MTP Gold, TF10, and the IE8. I own the MTP Gold, IE8, W3, and had the TF10 remolded into a custom 6 driver iem.

The W3 is great for metal.

I was going to say that I really enjoy the ER4Ps for metal, but since you didn't like what the im716s did to metal you probably won't enjoy the ER4s.

I do enjoy the Triple.fi 10s for metal, but I still reach back for the ER4Ps.

How the MTP isolates compared with the TF10?

My friend got the super.fi 5, which is the same body of the TF10, and the isolation is decent IMO, but not the same as the im716.
