Hey guys! A few of you helped me early decide to pick up HD555 for home use, but now I'm looking for some IEMs for outside.

I have a D2 with a lot of FLAC files and just ordered an E5 before reading the RE0 review. If I read that review first I would have justed bought them and not worried about the amp. I listen to a lot of indie pop and I am not a basshead.

Do you have any suggestions for me this time?

I thought I forgot something :p

Budget is under $80 USD since I would need to pay conversion + shipping to Canada.

If there is nothing comparable for that price, I'll pay $100 for the RE0.

I think the RE0 ships free if you get them from head-direct's ebay store. And yes, I enjoy my Er6i as much as RE0, but I prefer cold, analytical sound signatures. I think if you like the HD555 the RE0 will seem more natural to you.

Sell the E5 and get the RE0?

You could get the RE2's, but they're a whole world away from the RE0s. Save up an extra 20 for the RE0s. It'll be worth it.

Denon C551 are under 80 USD. They rank ok, probably not up there with the RE0s, but cheaper.
I think if you hunt around your can get monster turbines for about $100
Bugger it, if you can stretch to 100USD, RE0s sound like a pretty solid choice.

I was just listening to NE-7Ms with the E5 and Cowon D2+ a little while ago. I think this combination sounds great. I might also add that the NE-7Ms and Monster Turbines both sound excellent with the D2+ without the E5, IMO.
