Hey folks,
So I'm considering moving to IEMs for DJing, because there's a constant ringing in my ears after gigs. I use a pair of Sony MDR-7506s right now, and I love the sound quality on them, but I really have to crank them up to hear them over the PA. They don't really block sound well.
However, I need a pair of IEMs with very good bass, as I'm usually mixing house or hip-hop music. Clarity is also vital. I've gotten recommendations for the Atrio M5s, the Super-fi 5EBs (or whatever they're called), and the Westone UM5s (though they're a bit above my budget). My budget is about $200.
Anyone have any input on this?
