Looking for a set of IEM's for around $35. Dont want an inline mic. Something that has balanced sound signature or something with balanced mids and highs and an extended low end. Suggestions?

CKM50 has a very deep, prominent, and omnipresent low end, but is very nice if that's cool for you, mids more recessed than treble, but good resolution and pretty nice all in all.

Maybe look into the Brainwavz M1 which has good balance but sacrifices some of the lowest bass for it.

Brainwavz Beta might also fall in there being reasonably balanced with good low end extension but are a bit jumpy in the treble. They have a very spacious  presentation.

The id America Spark got a good review from Joker and is currently on sale at J&R for $32.

The Soundmagic E30 is also well looked upon.
And throw in another mention for the Soundmagic E10.

Happy Hunting.

Edit: Man, so much awesome at this price range these days.

Well, they are a little cheaper than 35 dollar, but they are considered to be the best budget IEMs around:

Monoprice 8320
Thread: http://www.head-fi.org/t/580769/the-monoprice-8320-mep-933-the-7-11-club
Price: 7.11 dollar http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10823&cs_id=1082303&p_id=8320&seq=1&format=2

Discovered by Dsnuts, these IEMs will blow you away... according to head-fi. I have ordered a pair and I'm still eagerly waiting for them to arrive. Sound signature is balanced. They are said to be pretty uncomfortable though, with very bad isolation. But who cares for 7.11 dollar?

Thermaltake Isurus
Thread: http://www.head-fi.org/t/586909/the-thermaltake-isurus-the-philips-she3580-the-iem-discovery-thread
Price: 25 dollar http://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-HT-ISU005EBRE-In-Ear-Gaming-Headset/dp/B004HPTH5I/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1333800356&sr=1-2

Also discovered by Dsnuts. And also incredibly good for the price. Probably the best bang for the buck. This time I can vouch for that. The detail and instrument separation is incredible. No IEM below 50 dollar or even below 100 dollar that has such amazing detail. They aren't super comfortable, but they do okay. Changing the flimsy stock tips to something better will improve the bass and tame the highs (they can be a little harsh). Vocals are amazing!

Philips SHE3580
Thread: http://www.head-fi.org/t/561951/philips-she3580-iem-review-10-giant-killers-er-4p-gathering-dust
Price: 11.09 dollar http://www.amazon.com/Philips-SHE3580-28-Colors-Headphones/dp/B003BT69Z2/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1333800612&sr=1-1

Discovered by Joe Bloggs. Dsnuts agrees that they sound incredible for the price (and for the size!). I also agree. You can really feel the bass, but it's not overwhelming. They are freaking comfortable, certainly for people with small ears. And it is just incredible how low the bass goes if you compare the size to lets say the TT Isurus. Sound signature is V-shaped.

Focalprice CK-700
Thread: http://www.head-fi.org/t/579727/mysterious-focalprice-iems-amazing-impressions-and-comparisons-inside
Price: 6.03 dollar http://www.focalprice.com/EP771W/Stereo_Inear_Earphone_with_35mm_Jack_White.html

Discovered by Ranked. Not many have tried the CK-700 yet, and that includes me. But for 6 dollar they are worth a shot. Ranked isn't the only person that says that. Sound signature is said to be similar to the Philips SH3580. Oh yeah, and free shipping from china to anywhere in the world! It can take a while though...

I've had them for a week. They are what you say they are. Better buds would help though the shape is a little awkward. Hard to get the wire to go around the back of your ears when you wear glasses. For two or three times the price I still wouldn't complain about the detail and clarity however don't believe the hype that they could be $150 buds. I find mine a little hollow and tinny at times.

150 Dollar is an exaggeration, of course. But if you compare the worst 150 dollar IEMs to the MP 8320, they come pretty close I guess. That doesn't mean I would pay 150 dollar for them, though.

Oh, and since he is searching for 35 dollar IEMs, those four aren't even a bad choice, even though they are cheaper. They might not be better than 150 dollar IEMs, but they are better than pretty much all 35 dollar IEMs, except for maybe Brainwavz, Soundmagic or JVC.

The Phillips and Focal Price look nice. Are there additional ear pieces I can buy that will fit both?
