sweet man. The lame team really deserves some credit on this one. 3.97 has absolutely amazing performance compared to the pervious lame versions. Encoding speed and quality have improved.

Just post your results for abx sessions, when you've done 16-20 trials.

Nope, The files had no replay gain tags, they were the same volume.

If one is encoded, other one is not (like it should be), then they could have different volume. Encoder's don't always retain absolute loudness values.
