Hey all, just a real quick question for the audiophile dj's out there (which I'm not sure there are many of). I've seen a few DJ's that use IEM's when they're spinning as monitors instead of a full sized set of headphones. I tried IEM's for a while and I didn't really like them for monitoring, I felt it was harder to differentiate sound between headphones and my studio monitor speakers.
So...have any of you dj's out there used IEM's while spinning? Did you find any upsides versus a full sized headphone like a V700, HD280 Pro, or HD-25? And yes, I do use V700's which are apparently a crappy headphone in general but I love them for spinning much moreso than my 280 Pro even.
