currently Im using a Fidue A73 with my Pono Player. The Fidue is quit nice for its price, but i would like to upgrade.
Im after a slighty V-shaped Sound (not as much as the Fidue) with a bass not too warm and not as sibliance prown as the Fidue. Im also after kind of an out-of-the-head Sound,the Fidue has a nice Stage, but everything happens in your head. I dont know if this is the same as a ´bigger Stage´. Tonally i like my Fidue which is i think on the neutral to warmer side. I listen to different styles of music like Depeche Mode, Smashing Pumkins, Beatles or early Neil Young, post-rock like Talk Talk ... . So an allrounder would be best.I like a musical presentation but im in no means a basshead (even the Fidue has a bit much of (mid?-)Bass for my taste.
What do you think fits my needs up to maybe 4-500€ (Dollar) or do i have to spend even more?
