I've been looking around for a nice pair of IEMs for around $50. Most of what I've seen are ones with the asymmetrical cable which is supposed to go around your neck, but I don't really like that. Can anyone recommend me some decent IEMs with a symmetrical design?

This goes above your price range, but the Shure E2 and the ETY ER6i are nice choices at "around" that price point. Oh and.. Welcome to head-fi... Sorry about your wallet.
