I’m new to headphones. Prior to this, I’ve been listening solely to a really great vinyl setup but now I’m hooked after buying the EDCs. It’s so nice to hear something with such great tone and effortless, non-fatiguing presentation outside of the home. Naturally I’m wondering what the next step up would be, and I mean a significant step up. Not subtle but a whole new level of clarity and drive. I would want the same over ear form factor as the EDCs. They are the only earphones I’ve found comfortable so far. I’m playing Tidal though my iPhone with a DragonFly on the way. Musical tastes are varied, mostly jazz and acoustic and electronic music, but also reggae, Latin, industrial, inde. Just nothing dense.
