I recently tripped on my Creative ear buds

.

Any recommendations for the $40-$60 price range? I'm thinking of getting another pair of the same ones but I like to try new products. I'll be running them off the Zen Vision M. Sonically, I've really liked the HD580 in the past, so something more laid back rather than up front would be awesome. I'd be using them at the gym and on airplanes.

The price range is flexible, if I can be convinced it's worth the upgrade :p.

Thanks for the tips, I've always liked this board.

I have a pair of 630's that I was very happy with. I ended up making a big jump in price to UE Super.Fi pro 5's and I think they are amazing. But thats a huge price difference. I think for the price the EP-630's are excellent.

How's the bass compared between those two? I find it hard to believe that there would be a better earphone out there with nicer bass then the EP630

If you can't find the Super.fi 3's for $50, then go for the CX300.

I'd recommend the JVC HA-FX66 series if you want to save some money. I tried a pair recently and was pleasantly surprised by the very good sound quality, especially if you use the "memory foam" eartips provided.

ummm maybe the mlar x3s or xB depending on how much bass you need? $57 and 65 shipped worldwide.

i had the ep630s and upgraded to the x3's theres less bass, but its a huge upgrade in quality. maybe the XB might suit you more if you want bass quantity.

As a first hour fan I can really recommend the Mylars. Supersound for the money and Jaben is the best audioshop in the world.
