Just some elcheapo chi-fi IEM's will do. Your ears are most likely shot listening to that noise! :smile_phones:

I'd love to see where the SD-5 and PP8 places in the ranking after shipping off my oriolus mk2. Please make this happen and i will love you endlessly @Virtu Fortuna
I've listened both, even the wooden versions of the SD5. But there was not enough time to evaluate fully. So they're not in the table.

But PP8 is a great reference IEM with a neutral signature and great technicalities. I loved the SD5 more though, more intimate and full vocals & instruments, especially with the wooden shell.

Interesting that a neutral tonality (or very close to it) of the S-EM6 V2 scored at 7.5 only while many other IEM which are far from neutrality have a higher score. Same with the bass.

So, neutrality is not a benchmark, correct?

No, the SA50 for example is also a neutral type of IEM. The mid section of the S-EM6 v2 is thin and sounds on a higher note than other TOTL monitors. So I don't think it's very very accurate.
