Hi.

I've been using the Future Sonics Atrio M5's for the past couple of years now. I'm really happy with the sound but not so keen on the microphonics and the fact that the cable seems to stiffen up after some months of use (happened with 2 pairs so far). The latter might have something to do with the fact that I mostly wear them outdoors and it gets fairly cold where I live during the winter (the cable is always under my jacket/shirt/whatever, though).

So, I'm looking for something with a similar sound and price range but also hopefully with less microphonics. The cable issue is probably something I just have to live with. I browsed through the multi IEM review topic and at least Fischer Audio DBA-02 mkII and Dunu DN-1000 seem like viable options.

Any opinions on these or other recommendations?

I should also mention that I like to wear my IEMs straight down and prefer to use foam tips instead of flange.
