Hello,

I’m a headphone guy but I’m looking for an IEM when working at office.

What I’m looking for in term of sound (I mainly listen to rock, vocals, live songs, acoustic) :
- a wide and holographic sense of space
- a natural sound (but still musical) with no obvious coloration (I’m really looking for a « lifelike » experience)
- a dynamic and punchy sound

I have / had Sennheiser HD800s, Hifiman HE6se and (in a lesser way) Hifiman Sundara : they all tick the previous requirements (you have to hear 800s thru my Amp / Dac setup).

As a last note, I already had the following IEM:
- Dunu DN2000j (1DD+2BA) : punchy and clean sound, I loved
- Dunu Falcon C (1DD) : punchy and big sound but not so clean and a bit metallic
- Earsonics S-EM6 v2 (6BA) : a monotoring and neutral iem, soooooo boring, I hated
- Earsonics Velvet v2 (3BA) : artificial sound, timbre are completely off, I hated

For a budget < 1000 EUR, what IEM would you recommend ?

Thank you

i have Andromeda 2020 and Sony IER-M9, They both sounds musical to me with wide stage. Just M9 are a bit brighter, and andro seems to have more bass. Those new andro are very universal, i can listen to any kind of music witb them while Sony may have a bit too much highs for old metal.

I think Solaris would fit your requirements very well, if you're ok with second hand units.

Solaris is too expensive for me

Dunu Dk-3001pro meets all your demands, except that the scene is not huge, but holographic and 3D. Very natural with a musical touch.

Audeze LCD-i3 sound is similar to a full size headphone. Great separation, resolution and timbre.
If you have an iPhone, with cipher cable you don’t need anything else.

I had a look at i3 but really too bulky

I’m looking more and more at Sony IER Z1R (second hand), seems an impressive IEM, wide and punchy sound for sure! I’m just worried about fit issue.
