IEM in combination with an IPOD touch

I started already a tread in combination with the cowon j3
 
but since I got the apple ipod I have to restart the topic
 
same question
 
budget = +/- 100 euro, and I want to start with some IEM
 
I got a lot of positive answers related to V-Sonic GR07 but I can't buy them in Belgium
 
is it good to combine a IEM with an amp like FIIO11 or 17 ???
 
 
I already looked at the forum but the choise is HHUUUGGEEEEE !!!!
 
 
I will also buy some on ear monitors afterwards, but that will be the next question

Your very mistaken, you can buy Vsonic GR07 that can be delivered to belgium here, i think they are also available on amazon.
 
They will work fine with the amps you mention however you would be better off trying the GR07 straight from the Iphone before you spend anymore.

The GR07 has very sturdy built quality combined with amazing soundquality (they sound big and loud like Sennheiser IE8) for the price. they will definitaly improve with Fiio E11/E17 but i find them improve more with AMPs like JDS labs 421 and dock cable is very important because it can shows the real difference(the ALO or offmarket 18AWG or 22AWG Pure Cryo and CXS are highly recommended) or lower end dock cables will give you impression of no sound improvement.

good suggestion to try them out firstly without any amplifier connected.
 
maybe an amp or dac is more an idea when using on ears

ok nice nice nice !!! still have to learn a lot, starting with good iems and on ears afterwards or over ears, we will see.
 
take time for next step = amp and cables.... great, I was very impressed first time I discoverd the world of portable hifi and especially this forum but starting to like it more and more every day
