Hey there Head-Fi! How are you guys doing? Great. So. I need an IEM recommendation for a long airplane trip to Japan. The thing is it'll be next to an especially loud, effeminate fellah whom I do not care for at all. So, if you could recommend me a solid pair of IEM's it would be great. I was looking at the Westone UM1's, Etymotic ER4P's, and the Sleek SA6's. Thanks alot, or as the japanese say...er, gracias.

Ety for isolation.

x2 on the Ety's. Used mine on a plane flight back from the US. You won't even need to turn them up loud. With the foam tips deeply inserted you'll be in heaven.

the ety will isolate but they not so hot on comfort, id say shure or westone for the best isolation and comfort

another for westone, futuresonics, earsonics, audio technica or any iem which fits similarly. the angle at which they sit is also safer for the listener.
