I'm kind of worried about how much the UEs would stick out of my ears to be honest with you. I'd rather have something small and not so noticeable. Almost bought the UM2s, but then saw that they are fairly large.

If that is your only worry then you should check out the http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f4/i-just-did-fs-mod-my-ue-super-fi5-pros-what-difference-201212/fs mod for the super.fi's. I was worried about that too but apparently they are much more comfortable this way and discreet.

I really enjoy my Super.Fi 5 Pros and my FutureSonic Atrios. I listen to the FS's more though. I ought to sell my 5Pros since they are just collecting dust.

Ordered the Klipsch Image X10s today. $85 over budget, but I'm comfortable with my decision. I hope I like them.

Hey-I have had the SE210's for about 6 months now and am loving them! Good balance between price and sound quality-the built quality is also superb. Great isolation with foam sleeves, comfortable for walking around in-no noticable cable noise and they feel nice and secure.

So I'm assuming the SE310's would only be an improvement.

I listen to pretty much the same sort of music as you, more metal though...

I bought my IEM at shoprbc.com because I got a great deal (they are Ottawa-based). They don't have much choice. Some UE and Shure I think. Also, you have stereotypeaudio.com

You best bet is to go with US seller like earphonesolutions or soundearphones. They have great selection and great customer service.
