I have a set of custom IEMs that the pins broke off in the connector on the earpiece itself and they're in so far I cant remove them. I tried contacting the original company a few times and haven't heard back over the course of the last year. Been very busy but found them today while cleaning the house and was hoping someone had a recommendation for someone to reshell them maybe or even just fix the plug as they seem to fit okay still. I just figured that while I have them there, might as well send some impressions with to have the fit checked and have them redone.
These started life as "LiveWires" which never fit right then I had them reshelled and upgraded to 4 driver IEMs but then this happened and they have been shelved since. Would love to finally have a set of these since I bought them originally back in 2007-2009 (not sure when exactly)
Thanks in advance.

This is the advise from some experts who do DIY stuff on headfi - for broken off pin in the IEM casing. All the best!

It's broken off so the plug is recessed, Ill have to go through the thread a bit more.. I feel comfortable doing the electronics just not sure how to pull it apart and put it back together and keep it looking nice. I don't much about custom IEM construction.
This is really helpful though, thank you for the reply.
