Hi,
My Preference: 
 
Genre (I don't limit my self to any particular genre, but mainly I listen to these): Indie Pop, Pop, Rock, R&B & Hip-Hop, EDM, Indie folk.
 
Currently I own Sennhieser Amperior. I find the bass only tinybit lacking sometime apart from that I like its sound signature.
I  am bit noobish when it comes to explaining my preference.
 
Edit: I like bass but the base shouldn't overpower/overshadow other instruments, bass should be present and punchy but shouldn't over shadow vocals and other music instruments.
 
Budget is only around $50.

I really like the Sony XB60EX, a balanced sound, but when coupled with a good amp with bass boost these IEM's rock.

I am not a big fan of using amps and budget is also but tight right now, so I prefer a iem only setup for now
