I thought about getting the sennheisers ie8's for myself as a christmas present :3... And the only thing holding me back is that if, when in-home use, they would have some hissing sounds or sibilance,  wich i've heard is pretty common when pairing HDP with iems... Help appreciated

Sorry, but the HDP is indeed not optimal for IEMs. High output impedance messes with the frequency response, the pot suffers from imbalances at IEM volume levels and the noise floor is not optimal for those either. It wss clearly made for full size phones. I would rather pair that amp with a high impedance full size can. It is a very nice match for the Senn 600 and 650.
