Hi guys,


was thinking of getting one fine IEM which can serve for travelling purposes..especially for vacations and college.

IE8 is more expensive than HD650/600 for me here...although used IE8 is around $300. but still i cant spend that much on IEM.

what about IE6? ..didnt find many useful posts on it

does it 'nearly' sound as good or is it a disappointment?


What i want is a Soundstage and a naturally warm sound like Sennheisers are know for.

Strange, a lot of people here bought the IE8, only some have bought the IE7 and nobody has any experience with the IE6? I think you can't say just buy the IE8 ,because it's in a complete different price class. It might be a very attractive buy for 100€ (thats the lowest price i can find in Holland-Europe).

IE7/8 are quite a bit superior to the IE6 from what I've heard. Soundstage, bass, midrange is all much poorer than its 2 counterparts. You would do better to save for the IE7.

No brainer really, the price difference is so narrow you may as well just go for the IE 7/8.

i say go for the IE8, if you dont no matter how good the IE6 is you will want the 8's and eventually end up spending way more

Holy.... great price! Can I ask whether this website is reputable!? Heavily considering in getting a pair of IE8 to call my own.
