IE 80: Unique, manual frequency response tuning functionality?

Manufacturers like to use "flowerly language"  to make a "hard-sell" to the buyers. Translation= high rejection of ambient noise= you dont hear much noise from the room/ car/shop/ etc you are listening in[ others just press them further into their ears]
Manual  frequency response tuning= You get a wee screwdriver/ allan key/ special probe /etc to adjust the frequency response either by adjusting the cone movement   or the surrounding supports OR electrically a variable resistor/capacitor. Take your pick!

The IE80 has a "bass screw" adjustment - as with the IE8, it is a small screw on the face of the IEM that adjusts bass response mechanically by increasing/decreasing the airflow to the driver. Unless it is a fake IE8/IE80 and then it does nothing

So it just relates to the screw that only adjust the bass

PJ- Now do you get the "flowerly" language that some manufacturers use to sell their products and dont think they are the worst.!
I am sure  I read  a book  by an American  about this some time back.  It was actually quite funny.
Its all down to how much your mind is "processed" by society.
