I recently bought a pair of SE535’s (red) off the bay. There was no box to indicate if they were U.S , EU or Asia, but I noticed there is no date code next to the sleeves. They also do not have any filters in the tubes. Do any of you know of , or own a pair of these non US versions? Do they have a date code?

I can not be certain but I don’t think they are fakes. I compared them to my Se425’s and they are of similar build quality. They came with all accessories including the Bluetooth cable. I’m not crazy about their sound signature though - they are quite a bit brighter with much less mid range than my 425’s, but they have a little deeper bass and a bit more range.

Sorry, may be a fake.
Have to be there a dust filter inside tube. If both happen, fake. If only one side happen, may due to prev owner accidental cleaning the tube.
535 does have fully mid.
Unlucky it is red, u can not see inside to read serial on b.a drivers.
