Looks pretty bad indeed ...

Dude! They're already wired for balanced! I'm gonna call my travel agent and start building a couple 3.5mm-to-XLR adapters.

ROTFLMAO... OMG you guys... I didn't expect those replies. I LOLed!

Seriously, anyone know any similar headphone? LOL... I was just gonna mess around with it. I wanted to know if it was gonna be worth... a ... uh... um recable?

I have some extra speaker interconnect which is kinda busted on end and good otherwise. I was thinking of cutting off the damaged side and then using that cable on these headphones.... To terminate it to mini jack.

BTW, I found that these headphones are used on American Airlines too after doing some "research"... LOL

Actually if you check ebay, it does appear that there are people who buy, sell, and collect airline headphones.

Which is not, by any stretch of the imagination, the oddest airline-related item people collect.

Behold: Air Sickness Bag Virtual Museum!

What... why is there a McD barf bag in there?

BTW, I don't collect airline headphones, I'm just obsessed with anything that has to do with Audio and I have itchy fingers... That, and I have too much free time since I'm on semester break.

So any clue as to the identity of those headphones?

There's no way of knowing. Some anonymous factory in china.

Hopefully it would be a hidden gem?

That's why I like to mess with stuff. You never know what you'd find.
