What does everyone here look for, in a player?
Sorta like... what would you're perfect player be?
And what would your perfect player be with today's current technologies?


I like a player that;

Is small (A flash memory drive is kinda small. MuVo + battery pack type size is nice good)
Light
Big LCD
Strong build (Invincible at best

)
FM (and AM if possible, but just FM is fine)
Expansion slots (SD card, though I do like attachable MicroDrive, CD, MiniCD, and MD extensions)
**Preferably flash based with MicroDrive add ons.
Competetive Sound (As good as 2 foot x 1 foot x half foot boxes

)
Long battery life (solar panels anyone? Forever lasting batteries at best

)
Custom adjustable operating system.
Recording abilities. (Line In. Record and play FM at same time)
Line out (not really that important... but my dad has a home sound system, and..yea...)
Codec support by firmware add on (Ogg, Flac, Wav WMA, mp3, w00t)
No drivers (period)


Well... if you look at it right... it's sorta like an iRiver CD player remote with tons more of extra features, and that attaches to more than just a CD player.

So, what are you people's dream player?

My dream player is currently sitting in a UPS box at my regular home in tucson, az. I ordered it a week ago, but it didn't come in time for my trip up here to northern idaho, grr. Let's see if you can guess what it is from these facts:

15 hour battery life
Dock with RCA line-outs
Ogg, Flac, mp3, wma, wav support
It's been labeled as an "iPod killer"
Same form factor as a GameBoy Advance SP
20gb hard drive

Just kidding, that thing sounds friggin' amazing... too bad it's not the best choice for Mac users...

hmmm... small, sexy, a lot of storage 20gb+, plays AAC MP3 WMA and FLAC, has a long battery life, and good sound
