HI,
I'm a new headphone fan! A while back I ordered a tube amp from Ideal Innovations. It was a custom order with a sub out, two inputs, and a headphone jack. I've never been a headphone guy but my wife and I just had a baby so I said what the heck..add the headphone jack. I bought a pair of Senn 580's and WOW! I love headphones!. I've been an audiophile for a while(Sean H knows me well ) and have owned some nice speakersr( Maggie MMg's, Newform R630, Paradigm Studio 80, Audiovector M1 Super, EFE T-22, ACI Emeralds, Hyperion W585, Green Mountian Europa's) and many more that I can't remember but I can't believe the resolution and purity I"m getting out or my headphones! I think with a 6 month old baby headphones will be the norm at the Whitley household.
Check out http://idealinnovations.biz/. They will add a headphone jack to your amp at minimum cost and it sound great. I bought a 6L6(military eq)amp at 15 wpc called the Custom 30.
