are not going to make for the best sound, but are a great whenever choice.  So, which to get... Monster, Phoenix, Audioquest, Ultralink, others?  Anyone have experience with these brands? Thankx

I would try Radio Shack or Best Buy first. if the $3.99 or whatever splitter works for you, then you just learned you don't need the $20 splitter. If it doesn't, it's $3.99, no big deal.

Can't imagine it would.  I got a cardas for source to amp.  BTW people, the ultralink is matrix level.  Will post this evening in cables.

You could get a double-headed amp like a Total BitHead.  A bit expensive if you're not going to be sharing often though.

actually, I have one. I mean, I'm sitting with a friend outdoors and I'm just impatient for her to listen to my new music, but I don't want to just sit htere watching and not listening. That is the scenario. (I eliminated the Phoenix brand).
