I'm awaiting my new Icon HDP which I'm planning on hooking up to either A2's or AV40's (haven't decided yet). I like the A2 because its smaller and desk space is limited but the volume control is only in the back so I would have to always go in the back to turn down my speakers if I ever want to listen to my headphones. I'm not planning on getting a dedicated amp for now because the HDP is a pretty large investment on my part. Is there anything I can do to make it easier or maybe get an intermediary (hopefully inexpensive) part to control just the speaker volume? Otherwise I may end up getting the AV40's.

nvm, i just read the manual and once you connect the headphones, the speakers are automatically cut off.
