As usual I'll bring lots of pop, beer and food. What would a head-fi meet be without food and drink? I think the only person we have to worry about getting unruly is Jay.

Eaphan is still banned? That was months ago. Aren't head-fi bans typically only temporary?

Hey gang,

Just wanted to bring the carpool situation to the forefront once again. It sounds like we have the southwest crew all set for rides (tell me if I'm wrong).

I will be driving to the meet, and Kev (Pixel Pusher) has just landed himself shotgun. Depending on how quickly my trunk fills up, I can still fit two more people from the east end. PM if you need a ride. Anyone else who can offer the same, please post. Thanks!

Anybody bringing a DAC? I have an optical cable for my cd player I would love to try. The DAC end is either a TOSLINK connector or mini audio.

Looks like there are two DACs making the haul, via whitewind and looser101.

[EDIT] - I will also be bringing a camera to the meet (Canon S3 IS), so we can get lots of shots to etch our mugs in the annals of audio-geekdom forever. Any photohobbyists coming along? Some of the Hamilton meet pics were great - who took 'em?

yea, mine were the crappy ones shot with about a 1/2 second of prep time. His were the really nice ones. Also... I'll probably be bringing a Silverstone EB01 and my laptop.

2ND EDIT : I should be bringing a pair of those weird PK1 Earbuds. I contacted the manufacturer and he agreed to send a sample for the meet. Info here and here
